Lets All Go to the Movies!

In our tireless efforts here at CleggThis to bring you up to date, relevant social commentary regarding our ever changing world, sometimes its nice to to say "fuck it" and go drink beers in the back of a movie theater. If you haven't drank beers in the back of a mvie theater, I highly suggest it. Don't waste time trying to hide candy and soda pop. CleggThis fully supports the 8oz. Budweiser cans. They hide easily in coat pockets or cargo pants.

Now, for something completely different. The first official movie reviews from the good taste of CleggThis. We will be looking at 3 filsm today, each with a heroic story of pain, suffering, achievement and glory.

The first on our list comes from Fox Spotlight pictures. "Thank You for Smoking" is a creative look at how PR can spin something as bad as smoking into a lovable, snuggly subject. This film is extremely funny and politically charged as well. It shines a light onto the evil world of political lobbyists. The story follows the life of a tobacco lobbyist and his struggle with his job at the Center for Tobacco Studies and his life at home with his son. Put this on your list of family favorites right behind "Finding Nemo."

Our next moving picture, or "movie," as the kids are calling them nowadays, is a triumphant story of childhood existantance. "Little Miss Sunshine" is the tale of a young girl who finishes second on a beauty contest, only to later find out she has made the finals since the winner could not fulfill her duties. You have heard Dick Clark make that speech numorous times. It is a touching story of family and acceptance, and finishes off with one of the best closing scenes ever.

And of course our last movie is one for the ages. It will no doubt inspire millions, and is destined to be a Hollywood classic. Of course, I am talking about "The Devil Wears Prada." There is so much to like hear all I can cay is go rent it right now, or watch it on a plane as I was forced to do. Either way, its a gem.
